W3C Recommendations in Debian ============================= Browsing the recommendations ---------------------------- The "w3-recs" package ships the bundle of the recommendations produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). All recommendations are shipped as a local mirror of (part of) the www.w3.org web site which is available starting from . Since browsing the recommendations starting from there is unfortunate (due to the fact that in the years the W3C changed the URL namespace structure of the web site), alternative browsing mechanisms are available. All recommendations are registered with the doc-base subsystem (see the "doc-base" package for more information on this). You can therefore browse the available recommendations with your doc-base browser of choice (e.g. "doc-central", "dhelp", ...). Alternatively an automatically generated HTML index of the shipped recommendations is available at . -- Stefano Zacchiroli Sun, 16 Sep 2007 12:06:16 +0200
