@TeX
{} (TeX) and @LaTeX
{} (LaTeX)Use the @TeX{}
command to generate ‘TeX’. In a printed
manual, this is a special logo that is different from three ordinary
letters. In Info, it just looks like ‘TeX’.
Similarly, use the @LaTeX{}
command to generate ‘LaTeX’,
which is even more special in printed manuals (and different from the
incorrect La@TeX{}
. In Info, the result is just
‘LaTeX’. (LaTeX is another macro package built on top of
TeX, very loosely analogous to Texinfo in that it emphasizes
logical structure, but much (much) larger.)
The spelling of these commands is unusual for Texinfo, in that they use both uppercase and lowercase letters.
