Description [src]

Lookups a branch by its name in a repository.

Parameters

`branch_name`	`const gchar*`
	The name of the branch.
	The data is owned by the caller of the function.
	The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
`branch_type`	`GgitBranchType`
	A `GgitBranchType`.
`error`	`GError **`
	The return location for a `GError*`, or `NULL`.

Return value

Returns:	`GgitBranch`
	A branch by its name in a repository.
	The caller of the method takes ownership of the data, and is responsible for freeing it.
	The return value can be `NULL`.
