gnu.CORBA.CDR

Class EncapsulationStream

Implemented Interfaces:
AutoCloseable, Closeable, DataOutputStream, Flushable, IDLEntity, Serializable, ValueBase

public class EncapsulationStream
extends AbstractCdrOutput

The encapsulated data, as they are defined by CORBA specification. This includes the extra 0 byte (Big endian) in the beginning. When written to the parent steam, the encapsulated data are preceeded by the data length in bytes.

Field Summary

static byte
BIG_ENDIAN
The Big Endian (most siginificant byte first flag).
static byte
LITTLE_ENDIAN
The Little Endian (least siginificant byte first flag).
AligningOutput
buffer
The byte buffer.
OutputStream
parent
The stream, where the data are being encapsulated.

Fields inherited from class gnu.CORBA.CDR.AbstractCdrOutput

b, codeset, giop, orb, runtime

Constructor Summary

EncapsulationStream(OutputStream _parent, boolean use_big_endian)
Create the EncapsulationOutput with the given parent stream and the specified encoding.

Method Summary

void
align(int boundary)
Align the curretn position at the given natural boundary.
void
close()
Writes the content of the encapsulated output into the parent buffer.
InputStream
create_input_stream()
Return the input stream that reads the previously written values.
void
reset()
Resets (clears) the buffer.
void
setOffset(int an_offset)
Set the alignment offset, if the index of the first byte in the stream is different from 0.

Create the EncapsulationOutput with the given parent stream and the specified encoding.

Method Details

align

public void align(int boundary)
Align the curretn position at the given natural boundary.
Overrides:
align in interface AbstractCdrOutput

close

public void close()
Writes the content of the encapsulated output into the parent buffer.
Specified by:
close in interface Closeable
close in interface AutoCloseable
Overrides:
close in interface OutputStream

create_input_stream

public InputStream create_input_stream()
Return the input stream that reads the previously written values.
Overrides:
create_input_stream in interface OutputStream

reset

public void reset()
Resets (clears) the buffer.

setOffset

public void setOffset(int an_offset)
