Functions

template<>
std::string Utility::val< std::string > (const std::string &s)

template<>
std::string Utility::str< Math::real > (Math::real x, int p)

Detailed Description

Namespace for GeographicLib.

All of GeographicLib is defined within the GeographicLib namespace. In addition all the header files are included via GeographicLib/Class.hpp. This minimizes the likelihood of conflicts with other packages.

Function Documentation

◆ Utility::val< std::string >()

template<>
std::string GeographicLib::Utility::val< std::string > ( const std::string &  s)
inline

The specialization of Utility::val<T>() for strings.

Parameters
[in]sthe string to be converted.
Exceptions
GeographicErris s is not readable as a T.
Returns
the string trimmed of its whitespace.

Definition at line 498 of file Utility.hpp.

◆ Utility::str< Math::real >()

template<>
std::string GeographicLib::Utility::str< Math::real > ( Math::real  x,
int  p
)
inline

Convert a Math::real object to a string.

Parameters
[in]xthe value to be converted.
[in]pthe precision used (default −1).
Exceptions
std::bad_allocif memory for the string can't be allocated.
Returns
the string representation.

If p ≥ 0, then the number fixed format is used with p bits of precision. With p < 0, there is no manipulation of the format. This is an overload of str<T> which deals with inf and nan.

Definition at line 566 of file Utility.hpp.
